Tessa Blaymires is born and raised in Te Puke. She was brought up in Pongakawa where her family have lived for over 100 years. Her parents moved to Papamoa Hills and started “Looking Glass Garden” which has recently been sold. They have now retired into town. Tessa Blaymires started her floristry career by working with industry figure, Penny Trubshaw. For the last 14 years, Tessa has been with Jean Irvine at Bayfair Florist. As Jean retired last year, Tessa has taken over the business and is committed to continuing to serve the many loyal clients that have relied on the company for years.

Although the shop has been moved to the town of Te Puke, only 10 minutes to Papamoa, Bayfair Florist continues to deliver personally just like before. Clients from all over Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa, and Katikati township will still enjoy our flowers. Additionally, Te Puke is now part of our growing service area.

Most of our flowers come direct from the growers so we can ensure that the quality is first class. The quality of our blooms is better than those found in the markets. We offer a variety of styles for weddings. We can build hired arrangements as well as provide flowers for other uses such as sympathy arrangements.

Working from home means Tess is flexible with her hours. If someone needs flowers at 7.30, as long there is no schedule conflict, there will be no problem.
